What we do

Sanctus St Mark's is a support group for refugees and people who are seeking asylum in the UK. We aim to walk alongside people who find their way to us, from all around the world, in a non judgemental and safe environment.

Where we are

We are in Stoke on Trent, in the Midlands, but the reach of our ministry extends to Europe and beyond. We aim to connect with like minded groups around the world.

Who we serve

We welcome women, men and children, without prejudice, of all faiths and none.

Our world is in crisis, as millions of people move from one place to another in search of safety and hope. There are currently an estimated 59.5 million people displaced around the world, and we cannot turn the other way and pretend that we can't see them.

It is time for us to open our arms and open our hearts.

Together we can make a difference!

Refugees and asylum seekers in Stoke-on-Trent are invited to DROP-IN to one for a listening ear, help with bureaucracy, a friendly face, emergency accommodation and assistance with food, baby equipment, English language lessons, translation services - and spiritual care.

Men, women and children are all welcome.  We have ‘stay and play’ activities for pre-school children.

The drop-in sessions are supported by a team of committed volunteers, Sexual Health Services, Mental Health, Asylum Support Team, Citizens Advice Bureau and other voluntary organisations.

9.30am to 12.30pm
