If you would like to help us with our work at Sanctus, please consider donating to us. Your money will be used for the following:

 

 

  • Providing emergency accomodation for someone who would otherwise be destitute.

 

 

  • Providing food bags, nappies and other toiletries to families who are in need.

 

 

  • Providing a range of educational and enjoyable creative activities that enables the development of crucial skills.

 

 

  • Providing travel passes to assist isolated people to attend the drop in, medical, legal and other appointments.

 

 

  • Providing assistance to refugees in furnishing their homes and acquiring essential items once they have been granted refugee status in the UK.

 

 

  • Providing financial assistance when requested by other agencies, such as the Citizens Advice Bureau, for unregistered people to travel to Croydon to claim asylum, and so legalise their presence here in the UK, and to assist them to navigate the legal process.

You can also make material donations in the form of:

  • Tinned food - particularly chopped tomatoes, baked beans, sweetcorn, fruit, chickpeas, kidney beans, tuna/fish, meat, tomatoes

  • Cereal (particularly cornflakes)

  • Coffee and tea

  • Biscuits

  • Sugar and salt

  • Rice, pasta and cous-cous

  • Lentils

  • Cooking oils 

 

Note: we prefer items not to be in huge bulk packets (i.e. huge bags of rice or gallon bottles of oil) as these are a harder to distribute

  • Shower gel

  • Deoderant

  • Razors and shaving cream

  • Sanitary towels (but no tampons please!)

  • Toothbrushes and toothpaste

  • Toilet paper

If you are able to deliver items to us, the best time to drop in is on Wednesday morning between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
