Entrepreneur training opportunity for refugees in Staffordshire

A representative from the North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce has been visiting the Sanctus drop-in on Wednesdays for a period of 6 weeks as part of a really interesting new project, funded by the Home Office and Community Lottery Fund, and overseen by the Centre for Entrepreneurs (CFE).

This pilot project is part of a one-year programme in Stoke-on-Trent, four programmes across the UK, with others based in Bristol, East of England and Belfast.

Working directly with the refugees and established local businesses, the Chambers of Commerce will deliver a tailored start-up programme that will take refugees from idea stage to the launch of their business.
